The NEMA 17 Linear Actuator Bundle kits are listed for lengths up to 1500mm. Is there any reason to avoid simply buying the necessary components (rail, belt, etc) for longer lengths (in the 2000-2500mm range)? The only pitfall I can think of off the top of my head is that the belt material usually used for shorter builds might have issues at longer lengths, but I figured I'd check before ordering something off the beaten track.

    Thanks!

Longer runs with belts means more stretch and the belts are a bit springy.
Depending on the use case it may or may not matter. There is also the dual belt option, if more stiffness is needed.
