FEEDHOLD

    I've got a
    [14:18:32] [ [external from hardware] ] OpenBuilds CONTROL received a FEEDHOLD notification from Grbl: This could be due to someone pressing the HOLD button (if connected)"
    problem. Probe stops at touch point. Not sure what's causing the issue but it gives me no options to get out except abort.

    Anything wired up to the Feedhold (Door) input?

    No door on the unit

    In the troubleshooting mode it has, under buttons: Off, Hold/Door, Off

    Hold door is in Red

    Yes, but do you have anything wired to the DOOR port? An estop, or similar would count too. Anything wired?


    Or perhaps nonstandard Grbl Settings? Post a backup for review

    Yeah I do have an E-Stop, settings reversed?

    It started acting up bout the time I put it in.

    Either wired wrong, configured wrong, or EMI.

    More importantly the Door input is for a Door switch.

    E-stops shouldn't be connected there. E-Stops should cut Power. Wall socket > E stop > Power strip > all machine accessories.

    I'll look but was pretty sure it was connected to the e-stop.
    Thanks, got to dig a little deeper
