Is there a tutorial that walks a newbie through the process of using a CNC? I use SketchUp and have downloaded the SketchUCam extension so I would like a tutorial using those products if possible. Design of small project, moving that project into SketchUCAM and finally producing the GCode. I am using an OpenBuilds 1515 CNC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Important reading: docs:software:overview [OpenBuilds Documentation] docs:software:openbuilds-control [OpenBuilds Documentation] docs:blackbox-4x:hello-world [OpenBuilds Documentation] And then the SketchuCAM videos on David (the author of SketchuCAM)'s Youtube channel if that's your weapon of choice: https://www.youtube.com/@DavidtheSwarfer/videos
There is a playlist of videos about using SketchUcam, but you should also watch the LEAD assembly video that shows you how to run the getting started Hello World project and so on. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLm728rLHCWOw-vRvTJwS_5MmKG1fs4sZ0
