Back to 4th axis questions

    Okay, I've got all axis' turning and burning. New problem, no matter if i set up the file for x or y center the x axis motor turn instead of the A motor when using openbuilds control. what am I doing wrong?

    Which CAM? Which Post Processor?

    If I understand you right, I am using Vetric aspire making a rotary file and saving the file as a openbuild gcode. I also set all my zeros with extra tolerance to test it but it want's to dive too deep in the material along with not moving the a axis.

    Standard post is XYZ only (for years Vectric allowed wrapping around X or Y, its really a 3-axes CAM, not full on 4th like Fusion etc)

    Vectric's wrapping feature will output X or Y coordinates for the Rotary by default.

    You can copy and edit the Post Processor to output A-axes commands instead, or find/replace the commands in the gcode: One user reported that to be his trick

    @Giarc might know of a premade Post that does A (The demon rotary one is XYZ only too?)

    I only know of the Rotary Demon Post Processor. Sorry.
