I have a LEAD 1010 with High Z mod I need to add length to width.
There is a conversion from 1010 to 1515, but my table is 40 x 60 and just need to extend x direction.
Or if it would be easier can rotate table and extend just y.

Has anyone else done a conversion like that?
Do I need to get the full conversion and then not use all the parts?

    Thanks,
    Dina

Simple case of replacing pieces of extrusion. And one lead screw. X is definitely the way to go though. You may want to add another rib under the bed but that’s the only piece you’ll need extra hardware for. Beyond that though, it’s just longer pieces of extrusion to replace the ones you have that are too short. Figure out the lengths you’ll need and if you need the parts store to cut them to a specific length don’t hesitate to ask.

And Tensioning system, thinner endplates etc. Else will have issues with whip.

Thanks, that's what I thought but was afraid something was getting overlooked.
I have extra limit switches - the extenders I have extra wire for. I'm also replacing all
the limit switches with optical ones.
