Y axis motor does not move

    Still new at this any help will be appreciated. This is about the third time this week when I tried to jog or home the Y motor (left side) -Y it did not start just the Y2 motor ran. I have to disconnect from the controller and power down then it starts right up and runs fine. Also just noticed my power supply fan stop working. Y axis motor and power supply cold to the touch and Y2 barely warm.
    This is the first time I have operated thru the WIFI I don't think that matters but its information.

    Keep an eye out, does the Fault LED for that axis light up when it stops working? Power cycling resets the FAULT condition, so by that description from you, it sounds like its likely the cause

    I'll definitely check for the LED light, but this happens when I first start up so its not because of heat. It gets a little scary when the X axis gets a little twisted. I turn everything off and then calibrate both the Y motors to the gantry. I'll have to read up on the motor calibration.

    Would still happen if its overcurrent, read the link I shared - multiple causes for fault, not just heat... Turn it down a bit

    I do get a red led. So the red light only comes on when its overcurrent. Before reading your last post I turned it up just a little and the light when right out, but after reading your last post I'll turn it back down and see what happens.
