Rounded v carve corners

    I keep getting rounded cover corners when doing inlays on my lead 1515 with z height mod. What is causing this?!? IMG_7052.jpeg IMG_7051.jpeg

    Is the material a uniform thickness? How are you determining the Z zero point? Is your spoil board surfaced and parallel to the gantry?

    Or incorrect taper in tool setup. Make sure angle of v bit matches angle specified in tool library

    Spoilboard is surfaced, spindle is trammed. Material is surfaced. Z zero set w probe

    Zeroed on top the wood, or the spoil board? I usually zero on the spoil board for everything except V carves because issues like this arise if the material is not the thickness it is expected to be.
