Hello, I am currently having an issue with my Workerbee 1010, somehow my Grbl settings got set back to factory settings. Now all controls are out of wack, I have made a few adjustments but now x,y and z are moving very slow, plus the spindle is not zeroing as it did before. When I push homing button the machine goes out of wack. Can anyone please help me get my adjustments correct. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks for any help in advance. 1) restore last working backup or if you forgot to backup 2) load stock profile from CONTROL > Grbl Settings tab > Select Machine from the list > save and reset when prompted Stock profile assumes you built the machine exactly as shown in the assembly videos. If you didn't then read the Grbl Wiki Home first to understand all the settings and adjust from there
Hello, I have a similar problem. I am doing maintenance on a machine and after inserting the GRBL software it has become too slow, I'm not sure what happened. I also noticed that in the current GRBL the dimensions of the X and Y axes are inverted.
Same reply as #2 above applies, best option always to restore a backup you took from it when it was working perfectly before you changed settings (accidentally or on purpose, regardless). If you neglected to backup, its essentially setting up the machine from scratch, using a machine profile, or custom settings if its not one of our machines (and then remembering to backup when its all been properly configured, tweaked and calibrated again) Also good habit to backup before major changes / maintenance / etc
Unfortunately I didn't make a backup, however it shouldn't be a problem, but currently the software is generating incorrect GRBL because it's indicating that the X axis is longer than the Y axis. I want to think that perhaps another parameter might be wrong. I saw in another thread that you mentioned the parameters are set low to prevent damage to machines that don't use their original motors. How can I confirm if the motor is original? I'm helping someone who had the machine unused because they don't know much about the topic, and they gave me the opportunity to adjust it and see how to get it producing. I can´t atached any file but the motor say 2315HS300AW-OB, 1.8°/step, 211030 OPENBUILDS. I'm attaching the GRBL that the software generated. $0=10 ;Step pulse time, microseconds $1=255 ;Step idle delay, milliseconds $2=0 ;Step pulse invert, mask $3=4 ;Step direction invert, mask $4=1 ;Invert step enable pin, boolean $5=0 ;Invert limit pins, boolean $6=0 ;Invert probe pin, boolean $10=1 ;Status report options, mask $11=0.010 ;Junction deviation, millimeters $12=0.002 ;Arc tolerance, millimeters $13=0 ;Report in inches, boolean $20=0 ;Soft limits enable, boolean $21=0 ;Hard limits enable, boolean $22=1 ;Homing cycle enable, boolean $23=3 ;Homing direction invert, mask $24=100.000 ;Homing locate feed rate, mm/min $25=1000.000 ;Homing search seek rate, mm/min $26=250 ;Homing switch debounce delay, milliseconds $27=5.000 ;Homing switch pull-off distance, millimeters $30=1000 ;Maximum spindle speed, RPM $31=0 ;Minimum spindle speed, RPM $32=0 ;Laser mode $100=199.100 ;X-axis steps per millimeter $101=199.100 ;Y-axis steps per millimeter $102=199.100 ;Z-axis steps per millimeter $110=2500.000 ;X-axis maximum rate, mm/min $111=2500.000 ;Y-axis maximum rate, mm/min $112=2500.000 ;Z-axis maximum rate, mm/min $120=150.000 ;X-axis acceleration, mm/sec^2 $121=150.000 ;Y-axis acceleration, mm/sec^2 $122=150.000 ;Z-axis acceleration, mm/sec^2 $130=810 ;X-axis maximum travel, millimeters $131=730 ;Y-axis maximum travel, millimeters $132=90 ;Z-axis maximum travel, millimeters
That is an OpenBuilds stepper motor. https://us.openbuilds.com/nema-23-stepper-motor-high-torque-series/
