Hello all I am trying to run a vcarve toolpath on plywood and it is coming out very rough. I have it set to a flat bottom depth of .04 and have tried just a 60 degree vbit as well as using the clerance tool option, Vcarve Pro Software, but had to use a 1/16 bit as the text was pretty small. Even with that it didn't come out very clean. The router/bit is set to run at 18k rpm and 100 in/min feed Any thoughts on what could be happening? I ran it on mdf and it looked great
What kind of plywood? Some just do not cut well. A down cut endmill will help to keep it from chipping out.
