    Good day to all..

Update the firmware on my Interface yesterday to 1.58 via USB from OB Controller wizard, update was successful, how ever I lost my wifi connection. This morning my interface could not find the USB port, running the startup test found 2 wifi networks and couldn't see the USB drive (OB's one that came with the Interface) and that's as far as the test would go. Reading the form I see I'm not the first to encounter this issue. Tried and different USB drive to no avail, formatted it on a different computer, didn't work. All my computers can R/W to both USB sticks so I doubt the sticks are bad... So, to me it appears that something in the update did something it wasn't supposed to do.

Did you remember to also update your USB drives with the next gen Wifi instructions docs:interface:wifi-setup-nextgen [OpenBuilds Documentation]

USB issues was limited to a run a couple years ago, so depends on the age of yours (though if its only acting like that now, unlike, that batch was years ago)

Yes sir that's what I did, filled in all the info for the Black Box, Wifi log in. the update went just fine. it's what happened after.

I hadn't used my system for over 2 years, moved from Florida to Michigan, Build a hose and then my shop, trying to get every thing running..

Firmware itself unlikely to cause either issue on its own.

Wifi wise make sure its a 2.4Ghz network, supports DHCP and has strong signal to the CNC - particularly in a garage with wifi from house etc.

USB: Unless the socket itself became damaged should work fine, its not under firmware control
