Can anyone tell me if the BlackBox X32 / Openbuilds control software will support a fixed location Z probe for reference measurements? This would be in addition to the normal Z probe input.

I currently have this with my Centroid Acorn controller, which has been giving me issues lately. I have the BlackBox X32 available, but would like to know if this option is available. At this point, I'd be pretty lost without this functionality. If this is available, I will be less hesitant to make the switch if my Acorn gives out.

Here's how it currently works with the Acorn controller. When I click the Z probe icon, I am presented with 3 choices:

    1. Probe with movable Z probe, then take a reference measurement at the fixed location Z probe (a.k.a. Tool Setter).

    2. Probe from fixed location tool setter. This is used for subsequent tool changes after the initial reference measurement has been made (option #1).

    3. Probe from movable Z probe only (the 'normal' singular use of the Z probe).

Something like this would commonly be used with an ATC or tool library. But in my case, it's really the most simplistic application since I use neither. It just makes consecutive tool changes more convenient.
