Hi all I have an unusual situation with the control software, it has disappeared from my list of installed apps, the program will not start. I downloaded a replacement file, attempted to install and got a message the control software could not be shut off, try closing manually which I can't find to stop. It does not show up in task manager and restarting the computer does not change the situation. Thoughts...? Thanks, dkw
Hello again, quick update, I've found the file on my hard drives, it won't start and i can't delete. I'm not sure where to look for the open file...? thanks, dkw
Unable to delete because its still running in the background. 1) Check Task manager and kill any stuck ones 2) Then try uninstall / delete type cleanup 3) Then reinstall
Hi Peter, I did all of that before I reached out. It does not show up in task manager, it has disappeared from the app manager list to uninstall/repair. I can't delete from the hard drive or reinstall, I get the file open error message shown above. Open builds used to start automatically when I turned on the computer, give a successful start message and sit in the active program tray on the toolbar, it is also no longer doing any of that. Can't delete it, can't reinstall it... thanks, dkw
This message of yours Confirms its still running in the background If it wasnt running, you'd be able to delete above, so check again. Details tab, sort by Name
