    Hi,

so, after a sculpfun S9 I went the NejeMax4 Route, because it had one of the biggest aeras out there. Turns out, 1050mm is not anough, I need around 1200mm.

The laser works really well, the controller is good, so I was thinking just about replacing the X-Axis with
2x Belt and Pinion NEMA 23 Actuator 1500mm and keep the rest the same.

    Will this work?

Are the stepper motors compatible with the controller board, so are they all the same; would l need to calibrate some travel distances.

I am aware some brakets will be needed, but that should be rather easy. hopefully.

    thanks for the help
    Chris

Steps per mm would mainly depend on the mechanical components. New pulleys and belt pitch will be different yes. Quite simple Grbl v1.1 Configuration

Our motors should be fine with any kind of standard CNC controller, otherwise fit your existing motors.

Thank you, so that will all work. I rather go now the custom route, so I can replace later on the rest if required.

Maybe I can ask another question; I tried to find the four corners from the ACRO system, but could not find them anywhere.
I was also looking for the 2x x-axis of the ACRO systen (the 2040 rails + sledge), but I am also not succesful.

Are those parts not available as stand alone?

Would have to ask the store, usually just part of the kits. Try Support > New ticket to speak to that team
