Hey, everybody! Newbee here. I trying to creat a mechanism for a sofa bed in a small trailer. My current mechanism consists of 3 springs that cause the bed to spring into a sofa when a little upward force is applied. Once it pops up I need to manually assist it to full sofa mode. I begun a build that I hope will work. It consists of a c-chanel with a lead screw with a plate that will move from the bed mode position to the sofa mode position and back. I'm using 2 limit switches and an up-down button or switch. The trailer uses a 12 volt system so that's what I'm tying into. I thought I needed a step motor but I don't want to use the controller etc. setup. So now I think I need a servo motor. Is there anyone willing to help me on this project?
