I'm building a specific use machine and intend to use the 20x80 rail for the X and the 40x80 C-Beam for the Y.

The previous machine I built for this specific use, I used the OX build plates, but this time I need to make my own plates.

I downloaded the DXF for the OX gantry plates and I see the V wheel spacing is 99.7995mm while the spacing on the C-Beam Gantry plate is 100.6mm

When designing my own plates, which spacing should I go by?

    Thanks

With the OX and other earlier generation plates folks often overtightened eccentrics, flattening/cracking wheels. So we moved it outward just a little to stop people (who skip the step and just crank the eccentrics all the way) from damaging their Wheels. So either is fine, but personally I like it a little closer, i know how to set eccentrics correctly :)
