Using SCRIBE Pen Lifter to Mark on Curved Surface

    I would like to use 1515 model with the extended z-axis and the SCRIBE Pen Lifter to draw on curved surfaces(like a 3 ft diameter dome. As an example, you have probably seen the dome ends to large propane tanks. Do you think we will be able to use the scribe to draw on such a curved surface with reasonable precision?

    yes, 2 ways
    1 - draw the dome accurately in software like Fusion360, drape the text onto the drawn dome, and generate Gcode from that.
    2 - probe the dome then use the probed mesh as a correction to a flat drawing. you will need new controller software like bCNC to do this.
