I recently installed a water cooled spindle on my OpenBuilds 1500. Now as soon as I touch the magnet to the spindle the Touch Probe Plus lights up, without any contact with the Probes plate. Even if I disconnect the control cable from the spindle. Anywhere on the gantry will trigger the probe. I've attached a video. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AC Earth to DC GND short circuit somewhere in your setup. Unplug things one at a time to find the source of the short then fix it.

@Keith Kessler did you happen to get this fixed? I've been using mine now over three years, and just this week mine started doing this. It worked last week without issue. I've not made any major wiring changes to my system, so it is unclear why an AC Earth to DC Ground short circuit might be the cause. I'll follow @Peter Van Der Walt 's advice, but this is pretty weird that it just started out of the blue.

UPDATE: I had added a second monitor to my setup. It is a 'typical' 27" monitor with a power cable from the monitor to the power strip, and connected via HDMI. Nothing special. It is the only change I've made in the last week (but had not done a CNC job since adding the monitor). If I disconnect the monitor HDMI cable, the issue goes away (and no second monitor). Bummer. I'm guessing there is no way to address this.

Easy fix, although I'm sure someone is going to slam me - simply use an adapter for 3 prong plug to 2 prong plug. Problem solved.

Not always, neutral-earth bonds in panel can keep the short presenting itself.
