    Hello everyone.
I do have a problem using a big piece of wood.

Everytime i run a job, the machine travels to the starting position (x/y). Afterwards it rises Z before going into the wood.

Normaly that's ok but because of the height of my current wood, the z endstop is hit.

Is there a way to stop the machine of doing this anyway useless move?

    I'm using fusion 360.

Ok i found the problem. After some trail and error i found the retraction hight in Fusion360 to be to much.

yeah, Fusion360 has a million settings and many of them are defaulted or calculated from other settings, up to you to check that things like retract height are sensible before running the code (-:
I have run jobs where a retract of 1mm was nearly too much, took a lot of careful thinking and cross checking before hitting GO
