My work has a Lead 1010 from before I was hired. They modified it to give the machine more build height, but haven't changed the GRBL Settings. How can I find my new "Z-axis Maximum Travel" so we can use the machine again?
Attached a photo of the modded part (only shown one side, but both sides were replaced). The original was 25 cm long, new one is 30.5 cm long.

Additional note, the whole machine was bought, built and modded by someone who quit. So I wont know if they bought a premade mod or just changed it themselves.

    Thank you everyone

Home it. Zero Z at switch, jog down as far as it goes. Read travel on the DRO.

Or even better. Set Soft Limits to Disabled. Not a beginner friendly option anyway
