I purchased an OpenBuilds Acro 510 a couple of years ago and installed a Creality Falcon10 diode laser. All was working well until I decided to attempt to use the pen lifter function for a second tool. This turned into a total failure using the BlackBox X32 and OpenBuilds controll, I never could get any servo movement. The servo is fully functional when being driven with servo tester or via remote control, external 5V power was supplied per the documentation.
Problems created while attempting to establish servo control: laser doesn't shutoff completely and never goes to full power, only outputs enough to do light engraving vice cutting as before.
Light burn no longer controls the laser properly but does control the servo for the pen lifter function.
Some setting in the many articles I followed attempting to get the BlackBox to control the servo for the pen lifter has messed up the laser control settings but I do not know which one.
How does one do a factory reset on the BlackBox / OpenBuilds controll?

Do your 5v power supply and black box power supply share a common ground?

Yes ground is shared via a Y cable to the servo, power pin from Black box has been removed so all it provides is ground and signal

Servo output = PWM. Same output just on an easier to plug in servo socket. Can't use same output for two tools.

Wire up laser or servo (not both)
And set all Grbl Settings appropriately for current tool (keeping a backup of each, or custom macro buttons)

    Thank you.
I figured I screwed my self by adjusting the PWM settings, even more so as I do not have a backup of the original settings.
I will try the generic setup for the Acro 510 and see if I can get the laser working properly again.
