Yes I made them 10mm so the 3/8 rod would fit for any builders that can't aquire 8mm rod

Another quick guestion on the y axis the bearing blocks are hitting the acrylic frame any input. I just mocked it up really quick to test and it hits just a little.

 

You have them backwards the screws face out with the frame you have

I'm using the OB 12v 30 amp power supply.
I gave up on taking chances, yes in the end you save a buck, but quality control is not there.
Yes all the power supply's are from china but there is a reason I don't have issues with the OB ones.
When a customer is buying large amounts the best of what a supplier has will always go to them before the one unit sale on eBay that leaves you helpless and spending more.
I think you have a bad supply, the voltage should not be dropping that low.
How do you have things wired?
Are all power leads on one output of the supply? Most have three output terminals.
I myself use an output to power one item each, bed on one, extruder on the next fans and other stuff on the the last

 

Yeah for sure 10v is a big drop, is there a reason for the external relay?

 

What type of relay is it?

 

Just wonder how many amps its taking to keep the relays engaged.
Whats your voltage like when only using the motors powered, no heat bed or hotend.
Have you any way to measure the amp draw? Are you sure your not exceeding the 30 amps?
Are you using all the same electronics as before with only changing the power supply, I'm sure you have thought of these things but I'm just trying to narrow the issue done so you don't waist more flow

 

Well made some good progress. Im trying to fight the urge to rush and make the wires clean. What are you guys using to route wires from extruder to ramps and keep it clean. Sorry for large pictures

 

I use the 1/4" flex mesh with heat shrink at the ends

 

So the same stuff im using. That gives it enough supportand keep it out of the way. I was also looking at the spiral cut plastice wire loom.

Alright so all the electrical is done now just need to install the belts and upload the code to the ramps. Do you have a link or file of the code? its been a long time how do you upload the code again do you just upload in arduino software? Thanks really excited to get this going hopefully tonight or tomorrow night

Most Computer power supplies do not have the capability of supplying the amps that the bed needs to heat up, You will be better of hacking an XBox 360 power supply, use the 203 Watt version, same one I use for a dedicated power supply for my bed, and the rest is powered off of a computer power supply.

 

To get more stable 12vdc out of the PC power supply's you should load the 5v rail

Aright guys have the OBi3 moving but i cant get the endstops to work is there something i can change in code. Even if im in pronterface and hit home button it does nothing. I can move the axis when i use the arrow keys in pronterface but also does nothing when the endstops are hit. When i depress then the led light does light up. @Robert Hummel would it be easier to just get your file since mine is the same im also using smart controller
