Hi all . I have a used mendelmax 1.5 I would like to convert in to a mendelmax 2 .Is it possable to do this with just printed parts ? Have any of you done this ? I am new at this and any help would be appreciated . Is there a better configuration to use these parts i have ? I do have access to a printer to make the printed parts i would need . Is PLA ok to make the parts i need ?
Are you looking to just make the transition to the linear slides, or something more. I can't find a reason to make that change alone. Maybe a size change, or a whole ubit conversion to better bearings/bushings, but not sure what exactly you want to change. Are you having problems with your Y axis?
