Hi, Newbie to CAD/CAM as I just finished building my CNC machine but I have been using Sketchup 8 for modeling my woodworking plans for a few years. Question, is SketchUCam comparable with Mac OSX 10.9? I tried loading the rbz file through the "install extension" process and get an error message that the extension has a problem and to contact the author and when I directly extract the .rb files into the plugins folder I also get a failure to load message. Any suggestions or is this a Windows only SketchUp extension. Thank you,
Hello Mike, I don't think there is a problem with using SketchUcam with a Mac. That being said, not having a Mac so not so sure of how you go about it. But you can post any questions related to SketchUcam in the discussion thread here: http://www.openbuilds.com/threads/sketchucam.3039/ Also be sure to check out the install instructions if have not already here: http://www.phlatforum.com/xenforo/threads/sketchucam-download.3128/ Hope this helps, all the best with your builds MC
Thanks, I resolved the issue as it was a permissions problem. For someone else having this problem you need to load the Sketchup extensions via an administrator's account. I'm looking forward to using this app and thanks for the help. Mike
