Cool idea @gwandad Im curious to see what kind of projects you will be able to make with your 4th axis. Nice job! Mark
Wow, Sorry I had missed this one! great job! Now all you need is a 3d printer head and a laser on it and you'll have a desk-top Ox-Shop! Or perhaps a One Ox Shop.... Ok, I'd better stop while I'm behind. Best Wishes! Larry
I've pretty much given up on this. I'd remove it if I could. I wanted more length than I could get, with the parts I have.
hi, i am, wondering what control board do you use ? GRBL is not supported 4th axis, can you share with me some idea about control board and software you use ?
Gwandad has not been on this forum for over a year so I will try to answer your question. He discusses his controller in this other rotary build, the C Beam Rotary . He switched to Mach 3. If you want to continue using GRBL, you could look at this build done with OpenBuilds parts. Apparently the build has been either removed from OB forums by the author, or he just provided a link to his webpage in another thread somewhere. Here it is and a majority of the parts are available at the OB Parts Store. He provides the plans and a post processor for the gcode. ROTARY DEMON CNC
