For some reason I have not received any newsletters from OB. Does anybody have any word on a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale. Id like to place a $700 order but I like to know what they have coming if anything. Thanks!
Looks like they did a really nice discount storewide last year. So I'm going to wait until Black Friday to order. My concern is that what I want is out of stock right now and the site doesn't let you order items that are put out of stock. If black Friday rolls around and items you want are not in stock will OpenBuilds allow you to place a back order anyway to be able to apply the discount code?

Mark...you guys are now down one C-Beam Machine. Thanks...was a great price before the sale...now I feel like my wife when she buys shoes on "sale"....I saved money!!! I had a question about the machine that should prob go in another thread...but is there anyway to get any more travel out of the Y axis...believe it or not one of my only hang ups about the purchase was the 11" travel...one of the things I was hoping for was at least a 12" x 12" travel. Thanks!
Order up an extra 1m section of C-beam and a 1m length of 8mm lead screw, cut them both to around 600mm and swap them out for the 500mm sections provided with the kit. That will give you the distance you seek.

Wow that was fast! You must live across the street from their warehouse. I placed my order just as the sale began and it still hasnt been processed. In all fairness, it was a fairly large order of more than 400 parts.
