Firetruckguy, Looking forward to watching your build come together. I have been looking at CNC Routers for a long time & I think the OX is the one for me. Right now I'm scouring the forum section on the OX builds and seeing if I can avoid any pitfalls others may have run into.
Well, this is three of us ! I'm also in planning stage of a big OX to and ingesting for days all the valuable knowledge burried in all great discussions on this site... Hope I'll get to a satisfying design by the end of the month and will follow your build with interest
The box I purchased at Menards 12"x 12" x 6" just look in the electrical section near the PVC conduit if you don't have a Menards I would assume most similar big box stores would carry something similar. As far as the connectors Amazon.com just search "Aviation Connectors. I used 4 pin for my motors and 2 pin for my micro switches. Pretty cheap so I purchased extras, figured I could always use them for some project. You have to solder the wiring to the connectors. I got my machine running last night so I know the connectors work, so I can't vouch for durability just yet.
That's the connectors I have on my OX. Been using them for about 8 months and haven't had any problems. I got mine off Ebay.
