The description of the bore size of the new high torque 20T GT3 pulley is not clear. GT3 Timing Pulley - 20 Tooth - High Torque Series ' This pulley has a clamp that locks onto the 8mm diameter rod/lead. ' ' Bore Size: 0.25" ' I suspect the former is true and the latter is a typo (possibly a copy paste from the old pulley specs? ). Can you please confirm which of the two is true?
Hello @Elias Politis You are correct this was a typo and should have said: This pulley has a 6.35mm (1/4") bore size which fits the Nema 23 or Nema 23 High Toqure Stepper Motors It has been corrected GT3 Timing Pulley - 20 Tooth - High Torque Series Thank you for your helpful feedback Mark

Hi Elias, The main thing is that it accepts the larger 9mm closed loop belt for the C-Beam reduction add on bundle thats coming soon. As of now all the parts needed to create the reduction system (pulleys belt plate, etc) are on the Part Store just not in the bundled form yet. 1 - GT3 Timing Pulley - 20 Tooth - High Torque Series 1- GT3 Timing Pulley - 40 Tooth - High Torque Series 1- GT3 Closed Loop Timing Belt - High Torque Series 1- Belt Reduction Mount - NEMA 23 - High Torque Series 1- Nema 23 or NEMA 23 High Torque stepper motor 4 - 20mm M5 Screws (for mounting the plate) One really cool thing about this system is that with the stand offs added you can mount this upside down (vertical) to create for example a TV lift cabinet, with maybe one actuator on each side. This system will also allow for heavier Z axis routers and many, many more configurations. This reduction setup should really open a lot of doors for future Build ideas.
I noticed that the plate has disappeared from the site too. What's the word on that? I wonder if it's from the email I sent with some suggestions on some changes to make it more flexible

I like this plate My camera slider I'm so worried I'm going to knock the stepper off carting it around, this would protect the motor. I don't need the reduction a straight 1:1 would be just fine. Did you publish the sketch up files for this? thanks Bob
Bob, if you are wanting 1:1 this will change the center-to-center distance about 0.6" which is beyond what the plate will allow. Creating your own plate is really not that difficult. Center-to-center distance can be calculated using - SDP/SI eStore and as this will work with any size pulley, you may be able to reuse pulleys you already have laying around.
Not if the belt tension is set correctly (which you need to do to reduce/remove backlash). You will stall the motor before the belt jumps a tooth.
