    (From the CNCookbook website)

    What is G-Wizard?

Get Feeds and Speeds in seconds

Getting good Feeds and Speeds is quick and easy: Fill in the blanks left to right, top to bottom and
    G-Wizard instantly returns the best
feeds and speeds. Super simple for Beginners, powerful and flexible for Pros. Plus, the best training materials anywhere free with the product.

Figure the Best Cut Width and Cut Depth

How do you know when you've got the best Cut Depth and Cut Width? These two parameters matter more than almost any other for best feeds and speeds.

G-Wizard will find the best combination to keep tool deflection under control while maximizing Material Removal Rate. No other software can.

    Adjusts to Your Needs

Are you looking to maximize tool life or material removal rates? Do you have a small CNC machine or a big industrial machine? Are you trying to hog out a bunch of chips or achieve the best possible surface finish?

G-Wizard makes it easy to dial in exactly
the results you are looking for.

    (From me :) )

The group buy would be for an unlimited 3 years subscription which will be limited to 3HP spindles afterwards (I don't get why)
edit: There's the answer they gave me: "This is how I get the product to hobbyists at a price they can afford and to professionals at a price that's fair given the value the software brings them." Which is totally honest.

The prices would drop the more we are:

    Bought alone
    $129

    2 licences
    $239 ($119.50 each)

    3 licences
    $329 ($109.66 each)

    5 licences

    $459 ($91.80 each)

    10 licences
    $839 ($83.90 each)

We might even have lower prices if we are more!

Nobody? I'm surprised on that one! You can try the free version for a month to test it :)

Couldn't you just use the free version for a month and test all the materials you cut routinely with different cutters and collect your own data? I am interested in the software, but my build is not done, and I would like to try it out for awhile before purchasing. Personally, if the software seems worth it, I would be more than willing to pay for it.

Yes you can use the free version to log everything and you'll be fine... oh wait! Look, a new cutter! :) I personally did that and I always need more than what I have logged. You can play with the depth of cut and see how it's affecting your spindle speed and feedrate without actually trying it (and risking to break something).
