Has anyone had any luck cutting plans from flitetest? Ive seen a video on youtube of a guy using an OX to cut out a airplane kit but Ive yet to figure inkscape out enough to be able to do it on my own.
JustinTime, what program are you using to convert the files to DXF? I have tried inkscape and I am not having any luck with any usable files.
Inkscape should be able to directly generate the G-code from the PDFs with [the pre-included extension] GCodeTools. I've had consistently excellent results (and I have almost zero Inkscape experience!).
oddly, I tried to get some gcode out of inkscape and totally failed, watched videos, read help, etc etc, just no joy at all.
How odd! Yeah, I've imported SVGs and even copied/pasted rasters to path-trace, and it hasn't skipped a beat on any of it. v0.91 on Win7 here.
