Hi has anybody experience with 2-xaxis but only with one motor now i have two motors and sometimes i loosing steps on the slave axis so i want to change the design to one strong motor which drive the 2 c-beams over belt or so thx for your input Peter
G'Day Peter, the short answer for me is no, though I was thinking about ways to manually jog a twin axis together last night. The thought process was along the lines of attaching toothed timing pulleys on the ends of the acme lead screws, joined together with a big timing belt (loop) with some idle pulleys to keep in tension. Got to hard so I gave up for the moment but the thought is still rattling around somewhere in the brain case. Sorry, I can't be of more help matey. Someone else out there might know.
I Think about one Motor at the middle with two timing Pulleys on the Motor axis one belt for the left and one for the right lead screw so that the tension is high enough around the timing pulley
