In the C Beam upgrade build the builder uses a belt reduction plate allowing the Z axis motor to rum as a 2:1 belt reduction. I cant find this in the store, Is it a custom plate?? Could the C Beam with upgraded X and Z axis handle a 2.2 KW spindle?? 10lbs or so in weight. I don't know what the Bosch Colt or Dewalt weighs as a comparison. Thanks,
The plate for the belt reduction was removed from the store to be updated. No idea when it will be back though. Mark posted this in another thread Is the new high torque 20T GT3 pulley 8mm or 0.25" bore?
