the PlanetCnC Mk 3 Controller has input connectors on the board which you can hardwire to a joystick instead of a jogging keyboard.
thanks, I bought it trough a local distributor in Switzerland but here is the url of the producer 1000 Series APEM, industrial and professional switches, joysticks, switch panels, LED indicators
Wow, Wow, Wow - joys sticks just have to be a great option. How are you managing heat/cooling from the enclosed space. Looking forward to seeing how you developed/built the electronics interface for all this!
Great idea there Iwan. I might try that myself. I see you have one small fan already, but there is room for a couple of computer fans each side, for a filtered "in" and "out" across the boards. Things could get quite hot in there on a long run, and that would deal with any possible overheating. Also, how are you getting on with the Planet CNC Mk3 Controller? I think I'm going to use one of those on my new build. Gray
Thanks Grey. Yes I already organized more fans to add to my box. So far I am very pleased with the MK3 Controller, it gives you a lot of options to adjust to your needs.
