Hi guys, Hello from Auckland, New Zealand. I'm a newbie wanting to build an OX to do some DIY woodworking. I've been looking at getting a mechanical Ooznest OX kit from ***** which comes complete with all guides, wheels, plates and stepper motors, landing cost about NZ$1000. Whats left to get is some electronics and this is where I'm stuck. Can the experienced builders give me some advice in terms of what stepper controllers and or other electronics I need to get the machine up and running and also some advice as to what software is easiest to use. Hi, Good to hear you are interested in the OX. I just want to make sure you are aware that the ones on ***** are nothing to do with Us or Openbuilds. I am not sure what size you are after, but if it is the smallest one, from us it would be NZ$1230 landed (excluding customs charges etc). Thanks for the advice Ryan. Its probably a knock-off then as they do. Seems like for a fraction more is probably best to get it from you instead. I assume you refer to purchasing it via the Openbuild store? I browsed around but could see the mechanical kits on the store. What "all-in one" electronics package would you recommend to go with the machine?
