Great dust shoe. I really like the inner tube concept...

I found that a dust shoe that big, is less effective in getting the dust out and away. The model I show on my built works great and hardly any dust remains in and around the cuttings. I'm only not happy with the way I attached it to the X plate and so I will take a part of your design to improve it. Thanks for posting!

Have you played with the design any more. I am thinking that a strip brush might work better. But your design is really great. Basic and well thought out. Here is the brush I was thinking might work.
Though it might be a bit long

That kind of brush is a disaster. Use one with plastic strip, not metal. It's a ***** to bend the metal in the right form.

Ah. OK. Hadn't considered that. Your right bending that into the correct shape would not be fun without a jig of some kind.

Oh, I tried many ways with that type. It's the only kind I could find here. Around a pipe, pushing it into a groove, with players etc. They flare out on the rounded corners. Useless for this kind of application. The ones with a plastic or rubber strip are good for this purpose.

Are the "feet" and "rod guides" available for purchase?

They are under the files tab above, if you are talking about stl files.

    Hi!
See this as a really good solution to get the dust out of way. I really would like to build this but.... I don't have a 3D printer :-( only a great working OX cnc.
Is there anyone that may concider to produces 1 or 2 sets of the 3D parts for me???? Please let me know - as long as it don't cost a fortune :).
