Very nice build! Not sure if you have used the laser much, but how do you find the speed using the screw drive? I was debating about adding on to our Cbeam or making a dedicated belt driven laser... Thanks for sharing!

    Hey Michael,
I have not used the laser on the C-Beam yet, but did use it on my old very crud screw drive CNC with pretty good results. I will be trying it on the C-Beam in the next few days and will post some results.

I did a quick test with the laser on the C-Beam. Still have a lot of configuration to do, but it works.

Hi RSW. Super build. I have been struggling with getting the Y axis range to be a bit bigger. After reading a lot and seeing your build, I get it. Could you explain to me how you figure out / measure the position of the outer wheels which stabilize the Y plate? I would love to add this to my c-beam... Would you by any chance share your modified plate design? With many thanks, David
