Anybody here have experience using Vectric's 2d desktop software? If so, any specific output format that seems to work best. I have tried a few different ones, but seem to have a flaw with each one.
I use Vectric Cut2D and an xPro without any problems. The output format should be the gcode you generate with your toolpaths. Save that and then run it on your xPro via one of the GRBL panel programs. What particular problems are you having? I can give you more specific advice if I know what is wrong. -Jonathon Duerig
Also, to be clear, when you go to save your toolpath, you will want to select the 'Grbl' post-processor. I do everything in millimeters so that is the grbl post-processor variant I select. But you can set up your machine to run in inches as well.
No real problems, but seam to be missing things. Still somewhat a rookie here, and been trying different outputs. I will look at those suggestions.
