    Thanks for the comments, I have been really busy with other projects so have not had chance to finalize the design and you have picked up on a 'fault' on the uploaded files, those wheel sets on the XY gantry are meant to be twin wheel sets, not individual sets as shown.

    One of the main requirements was to hide the screws, but this does increases the cost because there are more wheels and XL plates to buy.

    But the design also has multiple variations over the original (great) minimill. I have attached a PDF showing the variations and why the kit has a mid vertical strut to allow these variations, plus of course a moveable Z axis so the height is not so limited for materials.
