Hi everyone, I am new here. i have problem with my laptop desk. Problem is that sitting all the day about 6 - 8 hours within laptop desk. So i am thinking about adustable height desk. Is it good to buy or make a desk manually or through someone expert. I saw on google, there are lots of desk but high cost. i want desk in $100 -200. Is it possible to get adjustable height desk in this price. Help me with your ideas & suggestion. Trevor
Hi Trevor I like your idea. I've been thinking about a sit stand desk but the cheapest one I can find is $800. I found this on Instructables which was made for around $200 http://www.instructables.com/id/Electric-Height-Adjustable-Desk/ There are a heap more examples on their site. Most of them use linear actuators from eBay. I'm not sure if you'll save money by making your own actuators from open build parts.
