Hello All, I am working on a 3D printer build, and I am wondering how to CAD in the Micro-V plates I am wondering how high the V-plate rides from the extrusion rail and if the rail slides exactly in the middle of the plate. Right now, I am using a 1.75mm gap between the plate and the rail and assuming that the plate rides exactly in the middle of the rail. Thanks, Ishaan
Probably best if you use Save As --> 'Pack and Go', zip it up, and upload it here. I'll take a look. Ray
Hey, thanks for the offer. After a bit of closer inspection of the parts and the SketchUp model, I think I got it They ride 1.95mm +/- 0.1mm (I don't think I can machine that precise) above the track and right in the center
Cool. In any case, I use the wheels and midplanes to constrain everything. It's very convenient when all 3 (or at least 2) origin planes go right through the center of the part. The wheels also have the necessary midplane and I piggyback a larger plane right off of those (Plane Offset = 0) These are custom plates for a printer I'm designing.
