What do you Think a bout a polyuretan 3M HTD belt with steelcore about 15mm wide with apropiate pulleys and strechers.
I Think it would be abit stiffer and and the strech smaller.
When the belt is long and the machine is big! just a thougt!

Here is a link for belt performance from Polybelt. I don't know if they stock the 3M belts but they probably have something comparable
Polytech Design Inc - Engineering Data

The bigger wider belts do have less stretch per meter at full working load. Polybelts online catalog also includes the stretch data in with the part page which is a nice feature.

That's ideally how the dual belt works on the ox (assuming the builder springs for the extra belt). The only critical issue here is gap beneath the wheels in the V-slot track is too large and the teeth don't remain interlocked. 3M double-stick VHB tape works fairly well to fill the gap as long as you can find the right thickness of tape.

Yes and that gap seems to be 0.5mm which can be done with tape or I used 4x0.5mm carbon fiber strips, and CA glue which bonds to the rubber-carbon-aluminum very well.
