Hey, just checking to see if anyone else has used this type of nema23. I just received a set of 4 but wasn't able to find anything with regards to their capabilities. Please note the lack of holes on two corners of the motor itself. Searching google brings up another forum with a similar question but no answers. Markings on the back side list the following: STP-59D3015 1.8° /Step 2.5V 1.47A Thanks, Andrew
What do you need to know? where did you get them from? Only thing I would say is I can't think of any CNC use where the anti-vibration plate should be used, it will just introduce flex that you don't want.
You actually answered part of my question. The other half is... can I use these in my ox build with only two mounting holes?
Andrew, I know on my ox plates it's hard to tighten the bottom two bolt, so the top two are doing most of the work for the Y and X plates. For the Z I have a four post plate, the standard openbuilds plate is 2 (for the C-beam) or 3 posts (for the 2060), this would be harder to use your motors in this case. Motors are cheap, you can get basic motors from here You could try them and replace if it's a problem. Now that i think about it it's the dual-belt X-Y that makes mine an issue. You could make some 3mm aluminum plate adapters with a drill and careful layout, again is it worth it? up to you.
