We wanted to find out if Denim could be cut by the ACRO Laser. So we picked up some jeans and it worked! What should we try next?
Art board (engraving/cutting): Canson Mi-Teintes Board - BLICK art materials 1/16" black acrylic (engraving/cutting) Neoprene-coated polyester (Is neoprene safe to cut? Is polyester safe to cut?) Try registration for combining routing and cutting/engraving. Use a C-Beam machine or OX to cut/engrave a sign. Leave an onion skin behind. Then use the laser to char the engraved out parts of the sign and then cut through the final onion skin. Cut out a contour map using a router. Then engrave/darken every other contour ring with a laser. -D

Any chance it would be able to cut a 24 gauge plate of mild steel if you slow the feedrate down a lot?
