    What are you using for the controller? EDIT: I see your using the Gecko G540 nice!

    Well it is my name so we won't fault you :thumbsup:

    I'm using a Gecko G540 and some 380oz/in motors. The company I ordered from had some more powerful motors but they were 3/8" shaft and wouldn't work with the pulleys so I went with these guys but I'm not complaining. Should be a seriously capable machine once I slow it down a bit on the feedrate for cutting.

    they are more then enough for sure!:thumbsup: Sounds like a great setup for this machine, looking forward to your first cuts. :)

    Just tested the X-Axis at 1000IPM and it didn't miss a single step. Quite the machine you designed :thumbsup:

    What mounting plates are you using for the z-axis motor?

    Can you tell me with specific steppers you used with this build and where you bought them? Also wondering where you picked up your 18 tooth pulley's for the drives?
