I want to know if its possible to slave a 3 driver xylotex board to run double motors on axis. Thanks in advance, Alberto
Hello Alberto, This group may be helpful https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Xylotex/conversations/topics/921
Glad to hear it. BTW If you don't mind sharing, what did you find in case someone else in the future is looking for the same answer? Thank you Mark
Sure This was the reply from Xylotex "Hi, If you have this 3 axis drive: http://xylotex.netfirms.com/OSCommerce/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=33 then if you look in the lower right hand side of the drawing, you will see DIRA and STEPA They are the signals you can use, along with GND to go to a single axis drive (found on ebay for example) to control a 4th axis. Then in software like Mach3 you can "slave" the A axis to the X axis. More questions, just e-mail. Jeff" How can I slave two motors to a 3 axis drive or if there is a way to add another axis to my 3 axis .Thanks in advance, Alberto
