Well, I've had a good look around and I can't find them. I'm sure we had some C-Beam plates scale drawings for printing out as templates. Has anyone seen them lately? Would appreciate a point in the right direction. Cheers Gray
I've put it in the Helpful Tools section, under Scaled Drawings. Couldn't work out the Resource Page creation bit. Feel free to do so yourself if you wish.
As most of these files are available in a SketchUp format, here is a trick. One the top where there is File, Edit, etc.... click Camera. Perspective is checked by default, but switch to Parallel Projection. Find the object in the model and select your top view. Select the part you are interested, right click, zoom extents. Then go to print. In the print menu, you will see scale. Make sure that says "1" for both "In the printout" and "in Sketchup" Print As long as your interested target is smaller than 8"x10.5", it should print without issues. You may have to play with the window size or page orientation. EDIT: It's also how you take "perfect" side shots.
