    Those are nice, but pricey.

I just realized my CNC is about 12 feet from my central vacuum canister in the garage and 10 years ago I had the foresight to put a connection port right next to it. Best of all, it has a low voltage system for turning it on at each port which could probably be functioned via GRBL and the arduino. Looks like I may be selling a dust collector. :)

Also, it is nice to live near an Amazon distribution warehouse. My new surfacing bit came within a day even though I went with 2 day delivery.

I have three within 35 miles of me and another opening this year. I don't know why there are that many around the Portland metro area.

Well, this EnPoint double flute bit is one of my many loved recent Amazon purchases. I love this endmill. Although it is supposed to be 1/8 inch it is really only 3.11 mm in diameter. It works great on plastics...so far. Of course, the time I film it in use, some tape sticks to the bit and makes it perform worse than it usually does. Anyways, I had to replace the poly-carbonate plate on the top of my dust shoe, so I did the "superglue sprayed with activator sandwiched between two layers of blue tape" method after my new spoil board was surfaced. I do love this method for smaller parts. Since I never seem to cut through the lowest layer, I rarely damage the spoil board anymore. Of course, I always measure my stock with a digital caliper and enter that cut depth into Estlcam.

Here is the end mill in action. Although, the tape gummed it up decreasing its performance, for $9.99, I recommend it.

Also, if anyone is interested, the acrylic cement from Tap Plastics also bonds PLA, or in this case PLA to polycarbonate.
