    Hi,

I'm designing a sorting robot which can sort parts in a x / z manner.(see screenshot) Idea is to use 2 V-Slot® Mini V Linear Actuator Bundles.

Is it recommendable to use a drv8825 in combination with an Arduino to drive the stepper motor ? (or what else is recommended)
How easy is it to move the slider 5 CM ? How would the code look like.

I'm now in the process of printing zome 3D parts. As soon as I have something to show I will share some photos.

    Sure this will work,
I suggest learning about the Arduino and how it can be used to control stepper motors
