MaryD's post above is the same as what was sent in the email. This will be 5th Black Friday I've seen at OpenBuilds and the biggest suggestion I can offer is to shop as early as possible. Beyond the fact that things can run out quickly, you want to be as high as possible in the shipping queue. Those who wait until the latter hours of the sale generally find themselves waiting a week or so to get a shipping notice because of the sheer volume from the sale that has to be meticulously packed and shipped.

Free shipping over $99. (It's right there at the top of the ad.) As far as discount, I don't know as I'm not an insider but it'll be less than full price as it is at amazon so you might as well wait.
I just wasnt clear.. because if I get the rail from Amazon (which the seller is OpenBuilds).. there is free shipping (no $99 requirement).. but I would rather just get all the other bits-n-bobs at the same time and form the same place is all.. RE: price on linear rail... I thought it was mentioned or posted that it be on sale starting at $2.xx or something... another member asked for more details.. (I would like that too).. not sure about needing to be an insider? just curious what lengths those prices are for?.. and what types..etc.. I have stuff sitting my cart, just not sure if I need to take stuff out and maybe get it on Amazon.
The prices are valid Friday Nov. 23rd only, it says so right on the ad. And free shipping for orders over $99.
In the past extrusion has been 10% off across the board. I would probably expect the same this year based on the "Low as $2.96" price noted. $2.96 is 10% off the least expensive piece of V-slot (20x20x250mm clear anodized). Unless you're ordering less than $99 it's a fairly safe assumption that the Black Friday specials will be a better deal than what's listed on Amazon.
I am under $99 lol.. which is why the free shipping at Amazon for the rail seems nice, but still need my other stuff too. oh well, something will work out!
Thanks for mentioning that... I'd been waffling on my order all afternoon, trying to decide whether to throw everything else I needed in with the new Lead (or LEAD!) Machine, or to preorder the machine now & wait on the other bits until Friday... but with the 10% birthday code I was already using on the machine and hitting the only slightly more expensive non-black-friday (dirty greyish wednesday?) free shipping threshold, it looks like there shouldn't be too much of a difference. My first inclination was (naturally) "Ok! I'll just buy stuff now, and then buy even more stuff on Friday!"... but then I discovered that the prices the store had been showing me all day were actually in Euros with a $ next to them, and correcting that at checkout suddenly made my order significantly more expensive and my wallet significantly less happy with me (and if you've ever met my wallet, you know how scary that idea is)... so, only one shopping binge for me. I will, of course, pout sullenly at you when they turn around and knock 90% off everything I needed. -Bats (also: I'm gettin' a Lead Machine!
