UPDATE: I just used an old Amazon gift card to order my 1500 v-slot rail.. $24.49 FREE SHIPPING when ordered through Amazon!! (sold by OpenBuilds!) just an FYI! Too bad they dont offer their other products like MakerLinks etc..etc..too!
what time does the sale start? i have a cart full ready to order but havent seen a code or any update to site showing when the sale starts.
If it's at all like last year, just after midnight. I think that was for EST as well, as I vaguely remember placing the order at 9 PST.
Is there a code for the Black Friday sale that should be entered in the coupon section at check out. I didn't receive the email either. Joe
The sale hasn't started yet but when it does the discounts will be automatic so no coupon code is required. The circular can be found here. Sale starts at midnight EST.
I wasnt expecting the Doorbuster to go live early. Will there be more available with the CNC xPRO V3 Controller at midnight, or has that ship sailed?
Ok got my order in and the sale shows wheels are buy one get 50% off. Did not come out that way in my cart. order 20 wheels. Placed the order anyhow and will call them tomorrow and see what is up with that,
A bit of a belated answer, but the xPRO doorbuster does appear to be available again (although it's now listed, in line with the original mailing, as "First 15 orders only", as opposed to the pre-order announcement's "first 50" - so order quick!). -Bats
As you may have noticed we were able to offer 50 xPROs on pre-orders AND 15 earlier today - at Midnight. All were quickly scooped up however, through the end of today, there are still a ton of great deals - Machines, Actuators, V-Slot, Wheels, hardware etc..... happy shopping!
Thanks - I just stayed up late and answered my own question (and ordered the Lead!) I received an email a few days later saying it had shipped, but on the day Fedex said it would be delivered the tracking status changed from "By the end of the day" to "No scheduled delivery date available at this time." I guess it's that time of year... Ok, and I'm just a little impatient What's really odd is that FedEx lists the package dimensions as 21x10x7 in. - maybe the lead screws and rails are folded in half
Yeah, I know the feeling That probably means you got one of the experimental versions Openbuilds is using to test their exciting patented Insta-Rail™ Technology. When you get your rails and leadscrews, they'll come enclosed in plastic capsules. Just drop them in warm water and watch them magically grow to full size! (but based on others' reports, if you got the boring Insta-less™ version the parts are shipped in two separate packages) -Bats [ this space left blank for institutional use ]
