I've built some custom camera rigs using openbuilds, but this will be my first CNC. I know I want the strength of C-beam, and something in the 20"x40" size, but can't tell which is the best bet between the workbee, spinx or c-beam XL. Would mostly use it for custom aluminum plates and wood shapes for movie props.

    Any help please!

The nice thing about the Workbee and sphinx - since they have the moving gantry - is that they both can cut things longer than the machine. You just need to learn to use tiling (aka pinhole registration)
